Selecting a Camera Tripod - Bonus #1 - Discover if your camera the correct size for your tripod? Tube. Duration : 3.57 Mins.
www.clickherephotographytips.com Camera tripods had been used the decades to assist photographers with creating their very unique images. I tripod is an essential item that every photographer should have regardless of the level of experience as they offer support for the camera and they can be used in varying degrees of lighting for example at night, or; for landscape photography Not all tripods are created the same, as there are many different varieties of tripod. Some of these include a mini tripod, Compact tripod and professional tripod for studio or location work. As tripods are different also are some tripod heads, for example some tripod heads are used in the television and movie industries to provide support to their very heavy equipment. Other tripod heads are designed to support a variety of different cameras, everything from smaller compact digital cameras, 35mm cameras, digital cameras and medium format cameras all the way up to large format cameras. I have also seen tripods that are used to support other items such as overhead projectors, slide projectors, video cameras, binoculars and telescopes. Tripods are manufactured by a variety of companies some of these include Manfrotto, Velbon, Gitzo, Bogen, Slik, Dynatran etc and each provide somewhat similar functions.

Rayday Exhibition Film Video Clips. Duration : 1.33 Mins.
In 2009 the Permanent Gallery in Brighton made reprints of Jeff Keen`s 1960s Rayday broadsheets, gathered together in a specially made box, and they asked Ian Helliwell to contribute a collage timeline to evoke the flavour of Keen`s life and work. They organised an exhibition to launch the Rayday box and the Gazwrx dvd set, with Helliwell also showing elements from his Art Flies Free super 8 film. He exhibited 35mm slides, and created new loops from part of the film`s soundtrack - one on reel to reel tape, and the other a recording onto magnetic striped super 8 film adorned with letraset shapes and words. For the exhibition launch Helliwell played a live improvised set with his self-built Hellitron tone generators, early versions of which had been used back in 2000 for Art Flies Free, in combination with Jeff Keen reading extracts of his Rayday text. This video is a brief record of the event organised and photographed by the Permanent Gallery, March 2009.

NOSTRADAMUS: Countdown To Apocalypse Video Clips. Duration : 9.47 Mins.
Remember the days of the A/V (audio-visual) or Tape/Slide programme? We used to produce these at in the early 80s for showing to the reps at sales conferences. Every picture was shot as a 35mm slide and these were placed in Kodak carousel projectors which were pulse-linked to a tape recorder. The main body of this particular offering was produced as such while the 'movie' sections at either end were shot on a bloody huge VHS camera - and the quality was shite! If only we'd had computers back then; things would've been so much easier using Final Cut or some such app. I found the old VHS of this at the back of a very deep, dark cupboard and having digitised it, tweaked it slightly adding the dissolves between live action and AV (unheard of back then but oh-so-easy now). I offer it up (in all it's Letrasetted glory) in memory of those bygone days at Pan Books.
